Enterprise buyers do not fail because they cannot find a white-label page. They fail because the first email is a vibe. 'We need a branded VPN for our org.' No legal name. No who is controller. No who publishes the iOS app. No hours the helpdesk actually answers. No whether they need a sticky exit for an allowlist. Procurement reads that and files it under 'later.' Later is a polite no.
I want the contact form to carry a packet a security person can forward. Name, email, company, mobile, message — that is what the form asks. The message field is where the packet lives. If you paste a slogan, you will get a slogan back. If you paste nouns, you can get a call that does not waste both calendars.
This is not the dedicated-IP-and-SLA article. That one is how a brand prices a sticky exit and writes credits. This is the inbound: what you send us so we can tell you whether white-label, a bulk enterprise motion, or 'you actually wanted consumer download' is the honest next step. The call to action on this page is contact, not a self-serve white-label checkout. Procurement does not swipe a card on a homepage and call it done.
Klox consumer remains WireGuard, OpenVPN, OpenConnect, and Shadowsocks, five devices, from $2.83 a month, seven-day money-back. That SKU is a reference for a finished personal product. It is not your enterprise contract. I will not invent SOC 2. I will not invent a city count so your internal wiki looks complete. The white-label page publishes a network range in the 100+ locations / 60+ countries shape. Confirm the live packet on a call. If your RFP has a cell that demands a fake audit logo, that cell is your problem, not ours to mint.
If you are an MSP packaging seats, the White-Label VPN and Niches Isp Hotel Msp piece is the packaging. If you need the ownership map, read White-Label VPN: What You Inherit vs What You Own. Stay here for the inquiry itself.

Procurement buys a packet, not a homepage
A homepage is a story. A packet is a set of answers a lawyer, a CISO, and a buyer can disagree about in the same thread. Those three people do not click the same CTA. They forward a document. Your job in the contact message is to make that document possible.
A VPN is a tunnel. Enterprise buying is who is on the hook when the tunnel is a ticket. Write the hook in the first message.
- 1Skim the seating / order diagram.
- 2Do the numbered steps once on your real network.
- 3Use the FAQ if a sentence was too long.
- 4Follow one related article — not ten tabs.
How to read this page
| Field procurement will ask | What to write in the message | What 'we'll discuss' does | Where it shows up later |
|---|---|---|---|
| Legal buyer name | Registered company, country, VAT/tax ID if you have one | We guess the wrong entity | MSA, invoices, DPA caption |
| Data controller | Who offers the service to the human; who you think we are (processor vs joint) | Privacy page and DPA stall | Policy URL, store privacy labels |
| Store accounts | Do you already have Apple / Google developer accounts in the buyer name? | Launch calendar is fiction | Who can ship a hotfix |
| Support hours | Who answers, in which timezone, what is after-hours | You promise 24/7 and staff a founder Gmail | QBR, reviews, SLA credits if any |
| Dedicated IP | Allowlist / banking / site overlay — how many, which regions if you know | We assume shared exits and you assume sticky | SKU, price, replacement process |
| Seat or device shape | Employees, guests, MSP tenants — rough count, not a vanity number | We quote the wrong motion | Contract minimums |
If the message cannot be forwarded to legal without a follow-up call just to learn the company name, it was not an inquiry. It was a wave.
— KloxVPN operator notes
Cloudflare Learning: What is a VPN?
Why I will not send you to white-label as the first click
The white-label page is for operators who already know they want a brand on our network. Enterprise leftovers often need a conversation: bulk seats, a private split, a dedicated exit, a DPA. Those are contact jobs. If you already know you want a consumer-style brand with your logo, you can still write that in the message. Do not skip the nouns.
Enterprise VPN page versus this inquiry
Enterprise VPN is the org-facing product story. This article is the inbound hygiene. Use both. Do not paste the homepage into the message box and call it a brief.
Data controller is not a vibe
Someone decides why personal data is collected for the service the human sees. On a hosted white-label brand, that someone is usually the brand, with the platform as processor for network operations. Confirm it. Write who you think you are in the message. If you think we are the controller for your employees' account emails, say that, because that may be the wrong motion.
I am not your counsel. I am telling you procurement will ask. Empty 'GDPR compliant' sentences are how RFPs get theater. Name the company. Name the role. Link a draft policy if you have one. If you do not have one, say 'we need a DPA and a template split' instead of pasting a generator page.
Do not invent audits
Do not write that Klox is SOC 2 certified in your internal deck because it would help the cell turn green. We will not invent it here. If your buyer requires a named audit, put the requirement in the message so we can say yes, no, or 'here is what we can actually produce.' A fake logo in a slide is a future incident.
Account data versus traffic data
Invoices, seats, device lists, tickets — that pile is not the same as packet destinations. Say which pile you care about. 'No logs' without a noun is how white-label brands copy the wrong policy. The White-Label VPN and Privacy Policy Template Mistakes piece is the document. The inquiry just has to admit the piles exist.
Subprocessors you already have
If your company already uses a specific HRIS, IdP, or ticketing tool you want the VPN admin to talk to, name it. If you need LDAP/AD, say so. If you do not know, say you do not know. Inventing a connector in the first email wastes a week.
Store accounts decide whether you have a product
Who publishes the iOS and Android apps? If the answer is 'you, Klox,' you may be asking for something that is not white-label as we usually mean it. White-label typically wants the listing in the partner's developer accounts. Enrollment takes days you do not control. If Apple identity review is still pending, write that. It is not shameful. It is the calendar.
If an agency holds the Apple account, write that too. Agency-held accounts are how brands lose the binary when a contract sours. I would rather hear it in the inquiry than in month six.
Desktop and TV are not free
Say which platforms you actually need. A hospital that only needs Windows is a different build than a hotel that wants a QR to iOS. 'All platforms' is a sentence from someone who has not paid for screenshot production.
Internal distribution versus public stores
Some enterprises never want a public listing. MDM, internal testing, TestFlight, managed Play. Write the distribution path. If you wanted a public brand, say public. Mixing those in one sentence is how we quote the wrong thing.
Support hours you can staff
24/7 is a headcount. If your 'enterprise VPN' will be supported by two people in one timezone who also run the rest of IT, write the hours. Write the language. Write what happens at 2 a.m.: voicemail, a status page, a vendor NOC, nothing.
If you expect us to be the only after-hours brain, say that. That is a commercial term, not a hope. VPN Support Load: Tickets Per 1,000 Users is the math for a brand. Enterprise is the same math with angrier tickets.
Who the human emails
Employees will email the address on the receipt and in the app. If that address is yours, you own the clock. If you want us on the clock for network incidents only, write the split. Silence becomes 'they never answered' in a QBR.
Severity you actually use
P1 that means 'CEO cannot join Zoom from a hotel' is different from P1 that means 'node in one city is sad.' Define two examples in the message. I would rather argue about examples than about a percentage I will not invent.
Dedicated IP as a line, not a halo
If a bank, a brokerage, a vendor allowlist, or an MSP site overlay needs a sticky exit, say dedicated IP and why. How many. Which country if you know. Whether replacement with notice is acceptable. Dedicated IP is easier to map to one customer than a shared exit. It is not 'more private.' If your inquiry says 'dedicated IP for anonymity,' we will push back. The White-Label VPN and Dedicated Ip Sla article is the SKU physics. The inquiry just has to stop treating it as a personality.
Availability, regions, and whether it is in a package are sales questions. I will not print an inventory list here.
Shared versus dedicated in one sentence
Shared is how consumer economics work. Dedicated is how allowlists work. If you need both, say both. If you need neither and you just heard the phrase on a competitor webinar, omit it.
SLA sentences belong in the packet, not the blog
Credits, exclusions, notice windows. If your legal team has a template, attach the shape in the message: 'we need credits after X hours, exclude customer LAN and captive portals.' I will not mint a 99.something number so your RFP cell fills. Packet networks have weather. RFC 8446 is about TLS on control planes, not cafe Wi-Fi.
What a good message looks like
Company: legal name, country. Motion: white-label brand for employees / guests / tenants (pick). Controller: we expect to be controller for account data; need DPA. Stores: Apple account in our name, Play pending. Hours: 8–18 Europe, English and X, after-hours is status page plus next-business-day. Dedicated IP: 12 exits for vendor allowlists in [region if you know], replacement with notice OK. Seats: order of magnitude. Timeline: store review is the long pole. Constraints: we cannot claim audits we do not have.
That is already enough to book a call that is not a discovery therapy session. Add a security contact email that is not a shared info@ if you can.
What a bad message looks like
'Hi we want to white label your VPN like Nord' with no company, no seat count, no stores. Competitor names are fine as context. They are not a brief. Rel nofollow exists on this page for a reason: we are not pretending we are them.
Attachments
If you have an RFP PDF, say so and ask where to send it. Do not dump 40 pages into the message field. Do put the five nouns above even if the PDF exists, because nobody reads the PDF first.
Mobile number on the form
The form asks for mobile. Use a number a human answers. A sales-dev number that goes to a bot trains us to email only, and then you complain nothing moved.
What happens after you hit send
You should get a human reply, not a white-label password. The reply should classify the motion: consumer download, reseller, white-label brand, enterprise leftover. If we ask for the missing nouns, that is not stalling. That is us refusing to quote fiction.
If you needed a self-serve consumer VPN for five devices, you did not need this article. Download and pricing exist. There is no shame in that. There is waste in putting a five-person shop through an MSA because someone liked the word enterprise.
NDAs
If you need one before a call, say so in the message. Do not send a 30-page NDA that treats a tunnel like source code to a weapons program unless you mean it. We can still talk at a high level without your customer list.
Proof of concept
If you need a trial on two laptops, write the success test: connect, stay up on the office Wi-Fi, pass an allowlist, survive a hotel portal. 'Feels fast' is not a test. WireGuard is usually the weekday protocol. OpenVPN is still the hotel protocol. Say if you already know you need both, because the consumer apps ship both and a brand that drops OpenVPN will hear about it from travelers.
Timeline honesty
Store review, processor KYC, legal. If your board wants it 'this quarter' and Apple enrollment is not started, the board is not in the packet yet. Write the real longest queue.
How this differs from buying a consumer VPN in bulk
Bulk consumer seats can be the right motion: you distribute accounts, maybe a branded app as an option, prepaid, activation rules. That is still not 'we own a VPN company.' White-label is the brand on the home screen and the policy on your domain. If you are not sure, write both options in the message and ask us to pick with reasons. I would rather you hear 'buy bulk' than spend six months on a brand you will not staff.
Wikipedia's VPN page will not settle this. Your headcount and your inbox will.
Employees versus customers
If the humans are your staff, you have employment and device-management questions. If the humans are your customers, you have a product and a review page. Write which. Hotels and ISPs are the second kind. Internal IT is the first. Mixing them is how the privacy page lies.
Who pays
Central invoice, payroll deduction, guest upsell, MSP pass-through. Money path changes tax, refunds, and who screams. One sentence.
Who should be on the first call
If the only person on the Zoom is a marketer who liked the word white-label, you will redo the call. Bring someone who can answer controller, stores, and hours without looking at a slide. Bring someone who can say no to a fake audit cell. I will happily talk to a founder. I will not pretend a founder-only call is procurement.
If you are an MSP, bring the person who owns the PSA ticket queue. The MSP White-Label VPN Playbook is the packaging. The inquiry still needs the nouns. If you are internal IT, bring whoever owns Apple Business Manager or the Play org, because that is the calendar.
Security questionnaire dump
If you have a 200-row spreadsheet, say so and ask where to send it. Do not paste row 1 through 200 into the contact message. Do still paste the five nouns. Questionnaires that ask for city counts will get 'confirm on a call,' not a made-up integer. Questionnaires that demand a certification we will not invent will get a straight no or a pointer to what exists. That is faster than a green cell you cannot defend in diligence.
References and competitor bake-offs
You can name Nord or anyone else as the thing your buyer compared. Put rel-honest context in your own notes. In the message, tell us what you actually need that a consumer brand did not give you: your icon, your DPA, your allowlist, your hours. Bake-offs that are only price will bounce you to consumer pricing. That is not an insult. That is classification.
What I need from you before we talk numbers
Legal name. Motion. Controller guess. Store status. Hours. Dedicated IP yes/no and why. Seat order of magnitude. Longest queue. If those are in the message, a commercial conversation is possible. If they are not, we are still in therapy. I would rather delay a quote than send a number that assumes a 24/7 NOC you do not have.
After the first reply: keep the packet honest
People send a good first message and then the follow-up becomes vibes again. 'Can we also have dedicated everything and a custom protocol.' Slow down. Each add-on is a line: who operates it, who supports it, who pays when it fails. WireGuard, OpenVPN, OpenConnect, and Shadowsocks in the client are the consumer baseline. Extra protocol religion belongs in a source-code conversation, not in a hosted white-label first quote, unless we said otherwise in writing.
Keep a shared note of what was asked and what was answered. If legal changes the controller story in week three, the privacy URL and the DPA have to move together. If Apple enrollment fails, the launch date moves. The packet is a living file. Treat it like one.
Do not run a parallel consumer campaign as 'enterprise'
If five employees just need a tunnel this week, give them download on a consumer plan and stop pretending it is a rollout. You can still send the enterprise packet for the real brand. Mixing a five-device household SKU with an MSA is how finance and IT stop speaking.
Success test for the trial
Write three checks: connect on office Wi-Fi, connect on a phone on LTE, survive one captive portal or say you will not support portals. If dedicated IP is in scope, hit the allowlist. If those pass, you have a product conversation. If they fail, you have an ops conversation. Do not skip to logo colors.
When to stop and buy consumer
No developer accounts. No one to own the inbox. No need for your name on the icon. That is consumer or reseller. Say it. The contact form can still be 'we picked wrong, send us to the right page.' That is a successful inquiry.
A sample message you can paste and then edit
Do not send this unedited. Fill the brackets. Company: [legal name, country]. We want a white-label VPN for [employees / guests / MSP tenants]. We expect to be data controller for account data and need a DPA that names the platform as processor for network operations. Apple developer account: [exists in our name / pending / agency-held]. Google Play: [same]. Support hours we can staff: [days, timezone, languages]. After-hours: [status page / vendor NOC / none]. Dedicated IP: [no / yes because allowlist at X, roughly N addresses]. Seat order of magnitude: [50 / 500 / 5000]. We will not claim audits you have not given us in writing. Longest queue on our side: [Apple enrollment / legal / processor]. Security contact: [email]. Please reply to contact with the motion you think this is: hosted white-label, bulk enterprise, or consumer.
If that paragraph feels too long, it is still shorter than a six-call discovery. If you cannot fill half the brackets, you are not late. You are early. Fill what you can. Leave 'unknown' rather than a brave lie.
What we will still ask anyway
Who refunds. Who is on the card descriptor. Whether the app is public. Whether OpenVPN must stay in the client because you have travelers. Whether WireGuard-only is a hill you want to die on. Those answers change the quote. They also change whether a seven-day consumer money-back window is even in the conversation. Enterprise MSAs are not that window. Do not paste our consumer refund sentence into your SOW unless we agreed.
Legal review without stalling forever
Send the packet. Book the call. Let legal read in parallel. Waiting for a perfect DPA before you admit you have no Apple account is how a quarter disappears. Stores and hours are ops. Controller language is legal. You need both tracks. One person who can say 'we do not have that yet' is more useful than a redline on a clause for a product you cannot publish.
If your buyer compared consumer apps
Say so. 'They installed a five-device consumer VPN and now they want our logo.' That is a common path. The consumer product is from $2.83 a month with WireGuard, OpenVPN, OpenConnect, and Shadowsocks. The white-label path is a different invoice and a different inbox. Classification in the first message saves you from quoting the wrong one.
Key Takeaways
An enterprise inquiry that procurement can use is a short pile of nouns: legal buyer, controller, stores, hours, dedicated IP if you need it, seat shape, longest queue. Put that pile in the contact message. Do not send a vibe to the white-label page and hope a form appears.
We will not invent SOC 2 or extra cities to close a nervous cell in your spreadsheet. We will talk about WireGuard, OpenVPN, OpenConnect, and Shadowsocks, about five-device consumer SKUs as a reference, about a seven-day consumer refund window that is not your MSA. Your contract is the thing you asked for in the packet.
If the honest product is a personal app, download it. If the honest product is a brand you will staff, say so with stores and hours. If you cannot fill the table in this article, you are not ready for a quote. You are ready for a shorter email, and that is still better than a slogan.
